Lottery Result and Videos

Lottery Result

We were just pipped by the Isle of Wight Steam railway project but we were were awarded a National Lottery Trophy for being a finalist. This has been a wonderful experience and those who went to London enjoyed the show and meeting the numerous celebrities. More information to follow on this. Our thanks again go to those who voted for us.

We attended the Round House in London on Saturday 4th September to be part of the live National Lottery Draw and a one hour show of entertainment and presentations. 10 from each of the 21 finalists with three from each section who reached the finals had been invited. Our small group departed from Clitheroe at 08.15am and returned on Sunday 5th at about 7pm -delayed somewhat by signal failures down south.

John Barrowman hosted the show supported by live acts from McFly and Taio Cruz. Previously funded dance and music groups performed during the course of the programme which was filmed live on BBC 1 combined with the Lottery draws. Other celebrities who attended were Alex James, Benedict Cumberbatch, Tess Daly, Amir Khan, Larry Lamb, Matt Baker, Julia Bradbury, Sacha Parkinson and William Roach MBE.

Thank you once again for supporting us during the National lottery Voting process. Mel Diack M.B.E Chairman
