Additional info: Son of George Arthur and Nellie (nee Smith). Married 1922 St James, Clitheroe.  Stanley worked in the office of Chatburn Mill prior to the war. Listed as drowned. 1 Central Avenue, Clitheroe. We have great honour and privilidge to state that we have just recently been able to secure 5 medals for the late Stanley Smith Pollard and have arranged a presentation to his sisters Kath Brooks and Marjorie Preston on Monday 9th August at St Mary's Church, Clitheroe commencing at 2.30pm.
