Additional Info: His Father, Laurence Ughtred was killed at Vimy Ridge 25 years ago (information dated December 11th 1942 Clitheroe Advertiser and Times). Whilst his brother the second baron, Richard Ughtred Paul, was killed in action in the Battle of Britain being a volunteer officer in the R.A.F Volunteer Reserve. He was lost flying a Hurricane over the Channel.
